Terms & Conditions for The Black Dub Venue

By purchasing a ticket and entering The Black Dub venue, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before attending the event.

1. Attendance at Own Risk

Motorsport, including road racing, is inherently dangerous. All attendees visit The Black Dub at their own risk. The Black Dub is private property, and by entering the venue, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own safety. The venue owners and organizers accept no liability for injuries or accidents that may occur while attending the event.

2. Ticket Refunds

In the event that the Isle of Man TT races or practice sessions are canceled, ticket holders are eligible for a full refund minus a small administration fee. This fee covers the cost of shipping the tickets and associated paperwork. If the event is postponed to a contingency day, the ticket will be valid for that day. If you cannot attend on the rescheduled date, you will need to contact our customer service team at bookings@theblackdub.com within two weeks following the event. Unused tickets (i.e., tickets not activated or scanned at entry) will be eligible for a refund. Please allow 2-3 weeks after the event for the refund to be processed due to high volumes of inquiries.

3. Exchanging Tickets for a Different Day

If you have booked a ticket for the wrong day and wish to exchange it, please contact our customer service team at bookings@theblackdub.com as soon as possible. You will be required to send the original ticket back to our UK office. We will then send out a ticket for the correct day, subject to availability. An administration fee will apply for this exchange. The same process applies if you wish to refund your ticket.

4. What Classifies as a 'Race Seen'

Due to the unpredictable weather on the Isle of Man, it is sometimes difficult to determine whether a race or practice session will proceed as planned. A ticket will not be refundable if any race or practice is seen. For example, if a bike passes during a race or practice session but the event is later red-flagged or canceled, the ticket is considered used and is not eligible for a refund. However, if the Isle of Man Government or ACU TT organization issues a contingency day, your ticket will be valid for that specific day.

5. Alcohol Policy

The Black Dub is a licensed premises, and alcohol consumption is only permitted if purchased from our onsite bar. No outside alcohol is allowed within the venue. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate removal from the premises without refund, in compliance with the law.

6. Safety Regulations

  • Gravel Ramp Access: For safety reasons, no spectators are allowed on the gravel ramp. This area is strictly off-limits.
  • Barriers and Railings: Do not push or move barriers or railings to get closer to the racing action. These barriers are set at a safe distance as per safety regulations and must remain in place at all times.

7. Littering

The Black Dub is committed to preserving the beauty of the Isle of Man TT course. We kindly request that all attendees dispose of their litter in the bins provided. Please respect the environment and help us maintain a clean and enjoyable venue for everyone.

8. Customer Service Response Times

While we strive to respond to all customer service inquiries as quickly as possible, please note that as the event approaches, and during the event, our response times may be delayed due to the high volume of inquiries. We recommend that you ensure you can attend on your original booking date, as ticket exchanges close to the event may not always be possible. If you are unable to attend, please email us at bookings@theblackdub.com as soon as possible to arrange a refund or exchange.
